Privacy policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy (the «Policy») governs how information about individuals (the «User») is processed and protected when using the Vay Dahar mobile application (the «App») and the website vaydahar.ru (the «Site»), together the «Service».
The Service is owned and operated by an individual: Gurmaev Tamirlan Muslamovich (the «Owner», «we»). Contact: support@vaydahar.ru.
The Service is built on a data-minimization principle and, in normal use, does not collect users' personal data: it requires no registration, uses no analytics or advertising trackers, and stores no identifying information on our servers. This Policy is drawn up with regard to Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 «On Personal Data».
1. Key terms
- Personal data — any information relating to a directly or indirectly identified individual.
- Processing — any operation performed on personal data (collection, storage, use, transfer, deletion, etc.).
- Anonymization — actions after which it is impossible, without additional information, to attribute the data to a specific individual.
2. What data is processed
2.1. The App
The App requires no registration and is used anonymously. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying data.
- Crash and diagnostic data (anonymized). On a crash, the App sends a technical report (device model, operating system and App version, an anonymized error stack) to our own error-monitoring service hosted on our infrastructure within the Russian Federation. Personal data is stripped from reports on the device before sending; your IP address is not retained. This data cannot identify a specific user.
- Mapping SDK data. Maps are displayed via Yandex MapKit (Yandex LLC). The SDK may collect technical device data in accordance with Yandex's policy.
- Location. Used only on your device (to show nearby places and calculate distance) and only with your permission. Your location is not transmitted to our servers or to third parties.
- Local data. Favorites, search history, cache, and the selected language are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to us.
2.2. The Site
The Site does not use cookies, contact forms, analytics, or advertising trackers; fonts are self-hosted (no external font services are loaded), and there is virtually no client-side JavaScript.
- Server logs. Web-server technical logs do not retain an identifying IP address: the address is either not recorded or anonymized. Application logs record only the method, page address, response code, and processing time — no identifying data.
- Error reports. Technical reports about Site failures (request identifier, page address, error stack — no identifying data) are processed by the same self-hosted monitoring service within the Russian Federation.
2.3. Accounts
Public registration in the Service is disabled — a user cannot create an account. The only account belongs to the Owner and is used to manage the Service's content; no third-party personal data is processed in doing so.
3. Purposes of processing
- ensuring the operation and stability of the Service and fixing failures (using anonymized data);
- protecting the Service from abuse (short-term rate limiting);
- displaying maps and calculating nearby points of interest.
We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
4. Legal grounds
To the extent any processing occurs at all, it relies on the grounds in Article 6 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ: the data subject's consent (expressed by using the Service and granting the relevant permissions) and the Owner's legitimate interests in keeping the Service operational and secure. Since users' identifying personal data is not collected, the main body of operator obligations does not arise.
5. Engaged services and data transfer
We do not sell or share personal data. Error monitoring is hosted on the Owner's own infrastructure within the Russian Federation — crash data is not transferred to third parties. The Service relies on:
- Yandex LLC — mapping services (Yandex Maps / MapKit).
Cross-border transfer. Crash data and technical logs are processed on our infrastructure within the Russian Federation and are not transferred outside of it.
6. Storage and protection
Any personal data of citizens of the Russian Federation, were it to be processed, is stored in databases located within the territory of the Russian Federation (Part 5, Article 18 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ). Technical protection measures are applied: transmission over a secure protocol (HTTPS/TLS), storage of the Owner's account password solely as a cryptographic hash, role-based access control, and a Content Security Policy (CSP). Users' identifying data is not accumulated; local App data is stored on the user's device until cleared or the App is removed.
7. Your rights
In accordance with Federal Law No. 152-FZ, you have the right to obtain information about the processing of your data, demand its clarification, blocking, or deletion, withdraw consent, and appeal the Owner's actions to Roskomnadzor or in court. Send requests to support@vaydahar.ru — we will respond within the period established by law (no more than 30 days). In addition, you can disable location access in your device settings, clear local data in the App settings, and remove the App at any time.
8. Children's data
The Service is not intended for the deliberate collection of children's personal data and does not request identifying information.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page with the date of the last update. Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
